The grant funding assisted with funding for Tioga Central School District to host a free Summer Program for the Towns of Tioga, Nichols and Barton. The overall goal of Summer Recreation is to improve the physical fitness of our students. We would like to improve their eating habits as well as increase the retention of academic common core subjects. We also would like to improve the swimming skills of our students to increase the knowledge of water safety.
