The Regional Science & Discovery Center (SDC) was awarded funds to deliver 114 hands-on STEM lessons to approximately 365 students
at Tioga Central Elementary School (TCES), Tioga Center, NY. This type of experiential learning provides students with opportunities for deeper understanding and higher levels of retention of science concepts. The goal is to help students build a strong foundation in areas of math and science, while challenging and encouraging them to think critically and scientifically about the world.
